Christmas 2011
Christmas was an action-packed day for us. After leaving some milk and cookies for Santa on Christmas Eve, we got up early to see what he left for us. Fortunately, none of us received lumps of coal in our stockings so we were pretty pleased by that. From there, we were off to church and then to visit Kira's side of the family. Somehow the kids were able to get in their naps but mom and dad weren't so lucky. We were, however, able to stuff our faces with some good food and I think I'm still full right now.

Jonas excited for Christmas right off the bat.

Lucía, on the other hand, had to warm up a bit before she got excited.

Lu starting to warm up.

Finally the excitement kicks in.

Jonas liked mommy's finger more than presents at first.

But then he realized a toy phone was more fun.

All smiles for Christmas

Ariana was shocked that Jonas tried to open his presents with his mouth instead of his hands.

Lucía excited about some new clothes.

Lu was cautious opening a present that was about as big as her.

Even with a crowd around her and lots of kids excited about presents, Lucía was still able to concentrate on coloring.

We hope everybody had a good Christmas. While presents are fun part of the day, we're also glad for the opportunity to reflect on the greatest gift of all. Without Christ, there would be no Christmas. Merry Christmas everybody!

So cute! I like the idea of dressing them up in Christmasy outfits for pictures of them opening gifts. How fun!!! Looks like you guys had a great Christmas!
